At Ten Pao Travel, our mission is to provide you, the user/customer, with a first-class user experience, technical support, tools, travel pricing and itinerary options.
All transactions, inquiries, conversations, bookings and reservations with Ten Pao Travel, whether made online through this website or using offline methods such as chat, email, face-to-face inquiries or phone calls, are subject to the terms and conditions listed on this page. In all cases, for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the terms "you", "user", "customer", "passenger ", "traveler" and "cardholder" refer to each person who arranges travel services through Ten Pao Travel. Please note that there is a section below entitled "Customer Responsibilities" which we strongly recommend that you read carefully to ensure that you are aware of certain terms, conditions or limitations associated with the Travel Documents in order to ensure that your booking with Ten Pao Travel runs smoothly.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Your use of all or any part of this website is conditioned upon your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices listed herein. By using this website, you fully agree to be bound by these terms and conditions of the Tianbaotravel.com website listed on this page. You also agree to abide by the terms set forth in the Tianbaotravel Privacy Policy.
You also agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the respective travel suppliers (e.g., airlines, travel agents/tour providers/tour companies, car rentals, hotels, cruise lines, or hotels offering the travel product you are purchasing, etc.) (e.g., Flights, vacation packages, flights, hotel reservations, etc.).
The rules and terms (or terms and conditions) relating to the products offered by airlines, travel suppliers, etc. for the products selected by the customer will be made available during the booking process or after the booking is made via a specific link to their terms and conditions, as well as to Ten Pao Travel's terms and conditions (posted on this page).
These travel providers, airlines, hotels, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "Providers") may change their terms and conditions at any time without prior notice, and it is therefore the customer's responsibility to check these terms and conditions prior to commencing a trip, for a number of possible reasons.

Payment Methods

Purchases made on vacancescompass.com or through Tian Bao Travel will appear as "Tian Bao Travel" on your financial statements.
Depending on the nature of the purchase, some transactions may directly reflect the name of the airline, travel agency, hotel, etc. In some cases, your credit card may show multiple transactions totaling the full value of the purchases you made on the site. Ten Pao Travel and its travel brand Compass Holidays do not store users' payment card information (credit/debit cards) and instead use a secure third-party merchant payment gateway to process the extraction of your payment card.
We proudly adhere to industry Data Encryption and Payment Card Industry (PCI) security standards to provide a secure environment for users to exchange user and payment information with us throughout the travel purchase process on our website.
Payment for online reservations must be completed in full at the time of purchase.
Online purchases can be made using Visa and MasterCard credit cards. Flight and vacation package purchases are 100% non-refundable. Any changes made to an existing reservation or booking (where feasible only) may be subject to cancellation and change fees set by the supplier. In some cases, third party credit cards may not be accepted without prior approval.
If you wish to make a booking or receive personal support via offline means (rather than via the Website), Ten Pao Travel accepts electronic transfers, fund transfers and direct deposits (cash only).
For such offline inquiries, bookings and requests, all terms and conditions listed on this page will still apply to your purchases, inquiries, bookings, etc. with Ten Pao Travel. The credit card holder and/or payer of the booking (if payment is in the form of cash) is the person with whom Ten Pao Travel has entered into a contract/agreement to provide travel services for which Ten Pao Travel is responsible.
By authorizing Ten Pao Travel to use your credit card to pay for travel services, you acknowledge that you will pay the full charges and be bound by your cardholder agreement with the card issuer, such as, but not limited to, interest and foreign currency charges.
In addition, you agree that you will not revoke your payment for the Travel Services before, during or after your trip. Please note that the billing address and cardholder name involved in the transaction must be associated with the payment card.
If we are unable to verify the details provided, your reservation will be canceled with or without prior notice. The amount shown for an authorized transaction may differ from the actual amount paid, as some merchants may need to temporarily freeze additional funds.
This is common practice for many other merchants such as gas stations, restaurants and hotels.
The correct amount is displayed when the transaction is shown as "Completed Transaction". There may be a delay between the transaction settling in Completed Transactions and being removed from Authorized Transactions. Some transactions may appear as both Authorized and Completed until they are settled. Please check with your financial institution for more details. When making a payment using a Visa debit card, MasterCard debit card or bank debit card (Interac), your funds may be frozen by your financial institution for up to 60 days if canceled. In addition, your card issuer may charge additional transaction fees for online credit card purchases.
Since these additional delays are not mandated or controlled by us, we strongly recommend using other forms of payment, such as any major credit card, to avoid any delays and inconvenience. Please note that product availability and prices are subject to change based on pending bookings. Availability, accommodation and Flight prices will only be reserved/confirmed after full payment of the documents (reservation, inquiry, booking request, etc.).
The Tambo Travel website is a Canadian website dealing with many international suppliers. All prices on this site are set to Canadian dollars by default.
In some cases, we may choose to display prices in U.S. dollars.
You may choose to view prices in other currencies, such as "British Pounds", "Euros", and so on. Once you change your preferred currency selection, the selected currency will be displayed next to the listed flights, hotels, tour packages and/or car rentals (e.g., EUR, GBP, etc.).
Flight prices for certain foreign airlines may be displayed on the Site in the currency specified by the supplier.
If the invoice currency is different from the currency you choose to view on the website, an approximate exchange rate will be used to estimate the final amount due. However, the final amount charged to your credit card will depend on the exchange rate of your financial institution. Ten Pao Travel has no control over exchange rates and foreign currency transaction fees charged by financial institutions.

Refunds and Change Requests

No refunds will be made for unused travel services or any unused portion of a trip. Any changes made to your reservation are subject to the terms and conditions listed on this page and the terms and conditions of the travel supplier. These events are beyond the control of Ten Pao Travel staff/employees and travel suppliers and are not entitled to compensation or refund. If you need to cancel your reservation, you must contact Ten Pao Travel Customer Support immediately (by phone only).
Refundable products will be charged in accordance with the cancellation policy of the airline or travel supplier, insurance company, and Ten Pao Travel's cancellation fees, which will be determined by the nature of the booking (refundable/non-refundable) and the time period prior to your cancellation departure. Please note that taxes and fees will not be refunded by the travel provider in the event of a partial or full refund. Flight and certain package purchases are usually 100% non-refundable.
Typically, once an e-ticket (i.e., ticket number) has been generated for your Flight reservation, your reservation will be considered final and confirmed. A final confirmed booking may be 100% non-refundable or refundable with the airline's fees deducted from the refund.
Eligibility for refunds/changes is subject to the rules imposed by the airline for your booking, as well as the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Billing Program for Canada (BSP) and America's Travel Agent Reporting Corporation (ARC). In addition, a service fee of up to $300 USD / $300 CAD per traveler will be charged for any change request or refund request (for changeable/refundable reservations only). Refunds, if any, will be provided in the form of a travel credit that can be used for future purchases on the website. Under certain special circumstances, Ten Pao Travel may issue a discretionary refund to the cardholder without providing a form of travel credit as described above. No guarantees are offered for such refunds as they are case specific.
Any changes made to existing reservations or bookings are subject to cancellation and/or change fees.
Changing names, dates, hotels, airlines, seats, etc. is considered a cancellation and will result in cancellation fees or penalties that vary by airline and travel provider.
Failure to travel as booked for any reason will result in a 100% cancellation penalty for all airlines and travel providers in the booking.
Flights on certain airlines cannot be changed or canceled for any reason.

Customer Service Security Verification:

Changes and cancellations can only be made by telephone and only by the traveler or the invoice holder paying for the reservation.
When requesting a change or cancellation over the phone, a Ten Pao Travel representative will perform a 2 to 3 step verification process to verify your identity; this may include: confirming information such as the reservation confirmation number, email address, home address, phone number, credit card number used to make the reservation and/or the traveler's name, and the date of the last trip with Ten Pao Travel.

Price Accuracy, Price Increases, Errors and Omissions

Ten Pao Travel is committed to displaying accurate prices and availability on the Site. Occasionally, pricing errors may occur that are beyond our control or knowledge.
Prices and availability on the Ten Pao Travel website are derived from multiple global systems that are not under the control of Ten Pao Travel. Occasionally, travel suppliers, airlines may price flights, packages, etc. incorrectly. If the price is incorrect, the travel supplier has the right to cancel the booking and refund the amount charged; Ten Pao Travel has no control over these pricing errors.
For residents of Ontario, Canada, and in accordance with travel regulations, if the price of a service increases by more than 7% after a deposit has been paid, and this price increase is not caused by an increase in government taxes or fuel surcharges permitted by Transport Canada, the customer may cancel their booking by contacting Ten Pao Travel within the Eastern Standard/Daylight Savings Time zone on the date of the subscription.
Prices displayed on the Ten Pao Travel website are subject to change without prior notice during the same session. This may be due to unpublished price updates from suppliers or unavoidable delays between third party service providers and the latest travel supplier prices. If you disconnect from the website and return later, prices may change on your next visit. We cannot be held responsible for changes to the prices and availability shown on the website until the booking has been successfully completed. If more than one condition applies to a trip, the most restrictive condition will apply to the entire trip.
Ten Pao Travel strives to provide users with the most up-to-date and accurate information on its website, but typographical errors or mistakes may occur. Ten Pao Travel reserves the right at any time and from time to time to change the prices, fees, and charges for goods and services offered on its website without prior notice or liability to the user or any other person. In addition, Ten Pao Travel cannot guarantee that the goods and services advertised on its website will be available at the time of ordering or thereafter. Ten Pao Travel reserves the right to refuse, modify, cancel or terminate any Orders at any time without prior notice.
Final confirmation will be given by Ten Pao Travel only after the airline has issued the ticket and generated a final invoice for the product booked. The terms and conditions of confirmation and sale will vary depending on the product booked and are usually set out on the Company's website or other notices published from time to time.

Customer Responsibility: Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect you against cancellation, health, baggage and other losses, including out-of-province medical insurance where applicable. At the time of each booking (wherever possible), Ten Pao Travel offers the option to purchase travel insurance to protect travelers against any unforeseen circumstances that may occur before, during or after the trip.
There are different types of insurance policies available and the purchase of insurance is a voluntary decision by the client. It is the client's responsibility to read and familiarize themselves with the travel insurance policy to understand what is covered and the conditions of the travel insurance policy they are purchasing.
If a client wishes to make a claim on a travel insurance policy purchased on the Ten Pao Travel website, it is their responsibility to contact Ten Pao Travel 24/7 customer support or the insurance company directly. Please check your invoice and/or booking confirmation. If the cost of the insurance policy is not listed or the policy number is not indicated, then you have opted out of travel insurance and it is your responsibility to purchase your own travel insurance.
Travel insurance is required for travel to Cuba.
You will be required to provide proof of travel insurance upon arrival in Cuba, otherwise you may be required to purchase insurance locally. Please note that Tempest Travel and its sister brands are not responsible for costs and liabilities incurred by users as a result of not purchasing travel insurance or not purchasing travel insurance while traveling.

Customer Responsibility

Minimum Age

You acknowledge that you are of legal age and are authorized to book travel services on behalf of yourself and all persons for whom you are booking. Travel providers and airlines may have age restrictions on certain flights and fares. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with their policies prior to booking.

Minors traveling on their own

If you have minor children traveling alone without an adult over the age of 18, it is your responsibility to check with the airline for minor rules and restrictions before contacting a Ten Pao Travel representative for assistance.
Ten Pao Travel does not accept bookings for minors on the website. For booking requests involving minors, please contact Ten Pao Travel 24/7 Customer Support via email at [email protected] or call +1 (866) 615 9990 for assistance and a Ten Pao Travel representative will be happy to help you with your travel needs.
The specific requirements for minors vary from airline to airline. If you fail to meet these requirements, the minor will be denied boarding and forfeit the full amount paid. Please note that booked flights may be code-shared with other airlines and therefore the rules and regulations of the operating airline apply. It is the customer's responsibility to pay any additional minor fees charged by the airline. In the case of minors.

Fraud

You agree that you will not make any speculative or fraudulent reservations or purchases to obtain information that is not publicly available within the travel industry. In order to better protect cardholders and travelers from unauthorized use, during the booking process and at any time thereafter, SkyBet Travel reserves the right to contact you and investigate purchases and payment methods and request additional proof of cardholder ownership. All fraudulent purchases will be investigated and prosecuted. However, Ten Pao Travel is under no obligation to investigate every purchase made on the Site.
Ten Pao Travel may cancel any booking associated with your name and/or email address if we discover that your booking indicates fraudulent or suspicious activity. If you engage in any fraudulent activity, Ten Pao Travel will take legal action and you may be liable for Ten Pao Travel's losses, including legal fees and damages. If you have a dispute in order to cancel your reservation, please contact Ten Pao Travel 24/7 Customer Support at (+1) 866.615.9990 for assistance. (All cancellation and change requests can only be processed by phone).

Correct Spelling of Names

It is your responsibility to ensure that all names are spelled correctly and correspond to the name listed on the government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license or passport) for each person on your reservation. These exact spellings will appear on your invoices, booking confirmations and Flights, and any errors may result in you being denied departure by the airline, travel provider or immigration authorities (as appropriate).
You are also responsible for accurately providing the full name on the government-issued photo ID that will be used by the traveler for all portions of the trip. We may not be able to correct or change this once the booking has been made. Additional service charges may apply where permitted by airlines, travel suppliers etc. These service fees will be determined directly by Ten Pao Travel and the airline.

Travel Documents

It is your responsibility to bring accurate photo identification documents with you to begin the trip you have booked through Ten Pao Travel.
For example, in some countries, domestic travel using certain modes of transportation only requires you to carry a local national identification card or passport, while in others, a driver's license or other legitimate government-issued photo identification may be accepted for domestic travel.
It is your responsibility to contact the consulate, embassy or government website of the travel destination you are traveling to to ensure that you have the correct travel documents required to travel to each country/destination on your itinerary, including the America.
Depending on your country of departure or the country where the consulate issued your passport, you may be restricted from traveling to certain destinations or may need to arrange for a visa in advance. Most countries now require passports to be valid for six months beyond the end of your trip. Check the government website of the country you are traveling to.

Documents to return to Canada

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the proper documentation (passport, valid visa, applicable permits, permanent resident card, etc.) to re-enter Canada upon your return.

Special Needs Travelers and Travelers Requiring Auxiliary Facilities

Customer Responsibility: Checking Flights, Invoices and Booking Confirmations

Please check your invoice, Flight, booking confirmation and itinerary carefully to ensure that all dates, times, and products are exactly as you requested and that your name is exactly as it appears on your passport or government-issued identification that you will be using during your trip.
By paying for travel services from Ten Pao Travel, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted our Terms of Service. Please be sure to fill out any personal information requested by your travel supplier in advance.
Any such information or additional information may be contacted by a Ten Pao Travel representative or tour supplier prior to or during your trip via the email or phone number you provide.

Flight and Baggage Restrictions

We recommend that you check the airline's website for check-in and cut-off times for your flight and destination prior to departure. You should also contact the airline to find out if there is a checked baggage allowance, fees for excess baggage, and your airline or airline-specific carry-on baggage weight requirements, otherwise your carry-on baggage may be denied. You should also check what items are allowed in your carry-on and checked baggage, as these regulations may vary from airline to airline and country to country.
It is possible that your itinerary involves two airlines that do not have interline agreements with each other.
This means that your luggage will not be checked directly to your final destination. In this case, you will need to retrieve your baggage and re-check in, which may result in additional baggage charges. Please confirm minimum connection times and baggage information directly with the airline prior to departure.

Flight departure confirmation and check-in

Flight times are subject to change, including but not limited to the addition or elimination of stopovers and connections. Please be sure to reconfirm all flight times 12-24 hours prior to departure, either by contacting the airline or checking their website for information.
For self-booked connecting flights, please be prepared for possible delays that may affect your ability to get on the next flight.
We advise passengers to allow sufficient time for check-in and obtaining boarding passes.
Ten Pao Travel is not responsible for passengers checking in after the airline's cut-off time. Failure to check-in on time may result in denial of boarding, loss of assigned seat selection, cancellation of the entire booking and forfeiture of the fully paid fare with no possibility of rebooking. Please confirm the check-in cut-off time directly with the airline as the suggested times are for reference only and may be changed without notice.

Suggested check-in times:

Flights within Canada/USA - 60-90 minutes prior to departure
Flights between Canada/USA - 90-120 minutes prior to departure
International flights - 180-210 minutes prior to departure
If Ten Pao Travel learns of any changes we will endeavor to notify you directly. Please ensure that you contact your airline at least 24-48 hours prior to departure and, for security purposes, reconfirm on the day of departure.
It is your responsibility to reconfirm all flight information prior to departure. If your airline makes any last minute changes directly within 48 hours prior to departure, Tempest Travel will no longer be responsible for notifying you, it is the responsibility of your operating airline.
This is mandated by the Tourism Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) and is a recommendation to reconfirm flights prior to departure.
Any minor changes, less than 30 minutes or flight number changes, will automatically be accepted on your behalf. Any changes made between 30 minutes and three hours prior to the original departure time or later (if it conflicts with other confirmed Flight itineraries); passengers will have 5 days to make the change within the flight time of their choice via email. This modification must be made with the first available flight booked by the same airline in the same cabin class.
These modifications must be made within the airline's flight time change rebooking guidelines and cannot be guaranteed to be met.
Any voluntary changes are subject to the carrier's normal change or cancellation penalties. If not acknowledged within 5 days of receipt of the email notification, Ten Pao Travel will accept the change on behalf of the passenger.
We cannot guarantee that the airline will allow changes after reissuing or revalidating the Flight. Any major flight time change that is more than three hours past the original departure time; Contact Us will send an email notification to the email address you provided and follow up with a phone call (if possible) to review the affected flight time change.
Flight time changes delayed or advanced by 24 hours or more will be adjusted based on the next available flight or a full refund. We are not responsible for any consequences if the customer does not correctly enter email and/or phone information at the time of booking.
All flight time changes are implemented directly by the airline. Airlines reserve the right to adjust changes, cancellations or refunds based on flight times.
Ten Pao Travel is not responsible for airline flight time changes, but we will endeavor to provide other available travel options if they become available.

Travel Loyalty Customer Program

Most of the Flights we offer allow for the accumulation of Travel Loyalty Customer Program miles.
Please note that the airline has the final say on itineraries and/or account eligibility for such programs.

Ten Pao Travel Service Charges

Ten Pao Travel sometimes charges a booking fee for flights to specific destinations. We may also charge a booking fee for certain dates.
This fee is included in the total cost of your reservation. By agreeing to the total cost of purchasing your Flight, you are also agreeing to the Ten Pao Travel booking fee. This fee is charged by Ten Pao Travel, not the airline, and is billed in Canadian dollars.

Customer Claims

If you do not file a written complaint with Ten Pao Travel within 30 days of the completion of your trip or travel services obtained through this website, you will be deemed to be satisfied with the services provided. The services arranged by Ten Pao Travel are subject to the conditions imposed by these individual suppliers and their liability may be limited by their own rates, conditions of carriage and international conventions.
Ten Pao Travel does not invest in, own, manage, operate or control any airlines, flights, hotels, resorts, cruise ships, restaurants and is not responsible for their acts or omissions.
Ten Pao Travel does not guarantee the price, booking, connection, scheduling or protection of personal belongings of any travel supplier.
Ten Pao Travel is not responsible for the actions of its travel suppliers (e.g., airlines, tour operators, cruise lines, hotels, car rental companies, etc.), including, but not limited to, overselling, employee service standards, route changes, cancellations or delays. All information, rates, policies and availability are subject to change.
Ten Pao Travel is not responsible for the acts or omissions of our agents and our employees while acting on our behalf.
Ten Pao Travel shall not be liable for any damages including, but not limited to, sickness, theft, labor action, force majeure, mechanical breakdown, equipment failure, quarantine, time adjustments, governmental action, war, riot, acts of terrorism or other events beyond our control.

Intellectual Property, Trademarks, Copyrights, Logos, Images and Portrait Rights

Certain names, words, titles, phrases, logos, icons, graphic designs or other content on the pages of this Site are trade names or trademarks owned by or licensed to Tianbao Travel or its subsidiaries (e.g. Tianbao Travel).
Proprietary content on this website is the intellectual property of Tianbao Travel and may not be used without prior written consent.
